1. Ensure that all parts are glued together before painting. |
2. (OPTIONAL): Apply a generous amount of PVA glue to the inside crater rim and a thinner amount near the center. Apply thin streaks of PVA glue outside the crater to simulate blast marks. |
3. (OPTIONAL): Add stones to the inside crater rim and finer stones to the center and outer blast marks. |
4. Paint the road areas with textured paint. |
5. Paint the entire model with Dulux 1. |
6. Paint Dulux 2 to the areas shown above.

7. Paint Dulux 4 to the sidewalk as shown above. |
8. Apply a thorough drybrush of Dulux 3 to the road. |
9. Apply a drybrush of Dulux 4 to the road, concentrated more to the middle. |
10. Apply a light dabbing of Dulux 3 to all non-textured areas to create a worn effect.
